Language to Literacy is a 50-minute, daily program where classroom teachers, teacher assistants, and Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center's certified Speech-Language Pathologists teach Language to Literacy classes together. This program supplements the 2-hour literacy block. Language to Literacy establishes a strong foundation of critical language and reading skills in all students by teaching reading skills, sounds, school expectations, and life skills.
All West Buffalo Charter School students participate in the Language to Literacy program, differentiated by individual level.
